  1. Jim, Thanks. I played around with this a while and found that the following will force the memo field to appear in the report: Reports/Individual Detail/Options/Memos/Embedded (radio button) With that solved, I am also trying to force the "age" column to appear in the Individual Detail report. So far, not luck. Any ideas in that regard?
  2. I am trying to creat an "Individual Detail" report that contains all the tags for an individual. In the Options/Tags dialog box, I have selected "All tags" and "All events." I notice, however, that, although all the tags are present in the generated report, some (but, strangely, not all) are missing the information contained in the "Memo" field. How can I force this into the report?
  3. Working with merged data sets

Jim...thanks. I think I understand how this works now. Deleting all the duplicates solved the problem...dpusch
  4. I recently merged two TMG data sets. I notice that the people and the sources retained the numbers they had in the two separate (prior to merging) data sets, except that the numbers are now prefixed with either "1:" or "2:". That's not really of much concern to me; however, when I go to select a source citation, the entire Master Source List is not available to me. If I am entering data for a person with, for example, the number 1:353, I can only cite sources that are of the form 1:XXX. When I type in a 2:XXX source, TMG returns the error message, "Cannot select a source from a different set." This is confusing, because I thought I had merged the data sets into one. Any suggestions?
