  1. Too Much White Space in FGS

Virginia, you were so right. I had the large exhibit button selected. What would I do without you? Linda
  2. New problem.... In the children's section on my FGS there is a 1/2" white space between each childs section. It's never been this way before. I've reset the FGS options, tried checking different layouts, all without result. How to I get rid of it?
  3. Problem With Fonts

Virginia, you were correct. I had two WingDing font files but Tech Support sent me another Wingding file and after installing it the font problem went away. Thanks for all your help. Linda
  4. Problem With Fonts

Thanks for helping Virginia. The English (US) option is selected. I'll try contacting tech support per your suggestion. I'll post the solution for you if I get one. Linda
  5. Problem With Fonts

OK, I was able to recover the source column in the tag box but the fonts are still messed up. The tag box is showing a "u" with two dots on top and the column on the children and siblings box that shows descendants has a "c" with a little tail under it. I have the Wingding font in my Windows folder with the checkmarks in it. How can I fix this??
  6. Source Column Missing in Tag Box

I've tried dragging the columns to the left with no result, no other columns appear. I did make some changes in my fonts so I may have lost the wingding check mark. This is really frustrating.
  7. Source Column Missing in Tag Box

Additional info on my tag box...the only columns showing are the age column and Memo column that doesn't have a checkmark but a "u" with two dots over it. What the heck does that mean?
  8. After the latest update my source column is missing from the tag box. Now I can't tell if a source is attached to the events. There is no option to show it in the Preferences. What happened and can it be fixed?
  9. I'd like to create a List of People report for people of a particular surname born between certain dates such as 1800-1810. If this is possible how do I do it? Or can I create a picklist with these criteria?
  10. Suppressing tag in reports

I probably wasn't clear in my question. I don't create a marriage tag but in my report preferences I check the option "birth, marriage, death when missing" because I like to have the blanks printed so I can fill them in when I find additional information. This results in a blank being printed for a marriage when I know there wasn't one. Common sense tells me that when I check this option I will always get the marriage blank but I was just wondering if there is a way around it.
  11. Is there a way to suppress the "marriage" tag in the FGS report to keep from printing a Marriage? blank when you know a person was unmarried? Just trying to clean up my reports a little.
