  1. Hi, When I run “Journal report”\options\indexes, I chose people by given name. I export to Word and what I got is an index by surname?! I have tried both by surname and by given name and the final result is always the same, by surname {xe people: surname: given name (date}. Does anybody knows what is happening or this is a bug? Regards, Pedro
  2. Index does not run properlly

Thank you Jim, I have done what you sugested, and it works fine, if I only chose names for index. If I also include places, then the final index is by surname, not given name any more. Beeing so, I think this is a bug. What do you think?
  3. In prior versions of TMG we have got the ability to accumulate bibliography from diferent reports through Bibiogarphy Report. Now, as far as I know, TMG8 as no longer this very useful report. My question is, How can I, with TMG8 accumulate bibliography from multiple reports? Regards, Pedro Garrido
  4. Bibliography Report?

Hi Terry and Michael, Thnk you so much for your sugestions. For Bibliography, I am pretty sure that yours, is the solution. For index, after some research, I am going to try "RD field code" in Word. I never worked with it, but it can work. Let us see. Regards, Pedro
  5. Bibliography Report?

Hi Terry, Thank you so much for your prompt reply. As a matter of fact, I am producing a huge Journal report. As, before including fotos and images, it has about 1250 pages. In order to have something more manageble, I have built up kind of people report like UFT did. In order to achieve something like that, I have found EOL ancenstors and for a few hundreds I gave them a reference number to sort appropriatly. So I produce 4 volumes, each one from reference number from 0001 to 1000, 1001 to 2000 and so on. Each volume have his own name index and bibliography. The ideal situation would be to have a unic name index and bibliography. However, as for name index I supose it would be dificult to accumulate a single index from each volume, for bibliography, that would be possible with the good old "Bibliography Report". So my question is, now, how can I achieve the same result and have a single accumulated bibliography? Many thankas again, Pedro Garrido Sorry for my english and hope you understand the core idea.
  6. Joe, I also have the same problem and allready posted the following post: I have allready sent to Wollygenes suport, a few Word "Journal/decendent reports", where I got two strange formatings. 1. An extraline /carriage return, on both spouse paragraph and children paragraph?! I did not find yet if it hapens randomly or it has to do with something specific. 2. On children's paragraph, isometimes, it appears the text: "Name was…". This strange formating applyes both to Word and Print preview. Does anyone have the same problems? Regards, Pedro Garrido

  9. I got TMG 6.08 and when I tried to print a List of Citations Report, for a particular source, after choosing Options/Include memo tags, I got only memo text written before pipes, NOT TEXT AFTER THE PIPES?! I got a printout of a December 2003 report, and ALL memo text appeard both before and after pipes! Am I missing any kind of procedure? Thanks and regards, Pedro
