    yes Dave the detail "person window" has to be edited individually for each "father then mother". same citation "three times". i wonder if I need to uninstall and reload from scratch. awhile back the "Master Source" window did not have a scrolling bar on the right side. with the last up date there is one now. thanks "nick"

    maybe this explanation will help On my version of TMG-7 on my computer. From either or "alt+a+s" "alt+a+t". the window where data is entered "Name-Var", Birth", and "Death". These tags are only cited in one place in "First person" person window. The source and citation doe not show in the "father's "person window" or Mother's "person window". Example "Birth tags usually have three primary people attached to each tag, maybe more sometimes. Name-Var & Death have one primary person. "thanks "nick"
  3. I enter new people from the drop down list "Add" example "alt+a+s" "alt+a+t". After entering a citation in the Event Tag "Birth" with surety level filed in. The only widow the citation shows in is the first window that the citation was entered in. I have to open the birth tag in person view in each of the other principals "Mother, & Father" that was entered. to attach the SAME citation. Is there an easier way to cite the same event tag to ALL connected partys. like the Marriage tag cites in both partys with one citation entry. Thanks "nick"

    How can I display All sources??? I want to be able to edit all sources from "Source List" Master Source List "filter by data set:" -is- (All data sets) "sorting:" -is- (Source number). Radio buttons are "Abbreviation, Source, Surety, Cited". My problem is if any "radio button" is clicked all of the partial sources disappear except one. If I close "Master Source List" window, then reopen "List window" a partial list appears. I have never had a full list of sources DISPLAYED, using the More>> or Less<< doesn't help. My normal display is "Abbreviation, Source, Surety, Cited". with More>> displayed. Window with Less<< displayed only has "Title, Cited" Thanks for help "nicks_fam"
  6. Note to WhollyGenes TMG users My solution to reports using PDF format. Install PDF Printer, “Wholly Genes PDF Writer v3” will show up in printer list. Now try to send your report “_____.pdf” to a folder. If an error code ** appears, either before or after installing “Wholly Genes PDF Writer v3”, try deleting any other printers that are PDF converters. Be sure to remember them, or better yet save a written list of printers that are deleted. They might be needed again by other software. TMG v_7 will ONLY print to file with ASC II. i want to print to file with *.pdf or *.doc (any version of either). i have tried all the hints i could find execpt, i do not have font < Wholly genes LD (Wholly.ttf) >. i can not find fonts on cdrom ver_7 or ver_6. My version_5 i have thrown away. Please help, i want to print to file not Paper. my comp 64bit. RTF = Error # 20 PDF = locked up TMG & forced shutdown of comp Word win 2000 or later = Error # 20
