I will try this again with more information. I am using version 7.01 on Windows xp pro and 1 gig of memory. When I first open the program the flag values set fine. Then all of a sudden they can take up to a minute before the value sets. This is very frustrating and needless to say very time consuming. Hopfully someone can tell me what the problem is. It can take up to a minute to set or change flag values. Also periodically I get a foxpro error which shuts the program down. I am using version 7.01. Can someone help me.

I am trying to create family group sheets for a family reunion. I ran a report on my parents. The first child has all the information correct. All the other children have their children and spouses listed as unknown person. It even listed me as an unknown person. I am the youngest of the children of my parents. I checked the sureties and I have no surety listed. Tried again with ) surety and got the same result. Can you help me. Thanks, Ray Holt

I have recently run across a book that has information for a subset in my dataset, but since I have one dataset instead of a lot of smaller ones because of kinship ties, the information I have found does not apply to the vast majority of the people in the dataset. I just wish I could site this new source once instead of having to do it perhaps 200 times. Ray Holt

It seems to me that you would have the same problem doing a global citation of the entire dataset. What's the difference? Ray Holt

I am in the midst of merging duplicate entries. About every five or ten entries I discover that one of the entries I'm triying to merge have the flag set to M or F while the other one is set to ?. When I try to change the ? to M or F the machine locks up and I have to use control/alt/delete to exit the program. When I get back in the flag has changed to the correct sex. It is annoying to have this lock up occur. Thanks, Ray Holt

That is the gist of it Terry. I have discovered a source for several entries in my dataset. I don't want to apply this citation to all of the dataset, just to a sub set. It would be nice to be able to do this other than just individually which would involve a lot of time. I hope this makes it clearer. Thanks, Ray Holt

I downloaded a gedcom in which many of the sex flags were set to ?. In trying to change to M or F almost without exception the program locks up and I have to use control/alt/delete to exit. I am using 6.04. Is this a bug and if so is there a workaround. Thanks, Ray Holt

I would like to see the ability to add a citation to a focus group rather than having to do so globally to the entire data set. Thanks, Ray Holt
