  1. I like to see the age column when I am entering data. I use the preference mode to set it so it will appear but each time I either backup my data or shut down the program, that preference disappears and has to be reset to show the column. I've checked the backup specifications and the preferences option is checked. Is there any way to set that preference up to be permanent?

  4. I am a relative Newby having had TMG a long time but not having had the time to get deeply into its capabilities. I have a number of ancestors who bought and sold land with some frequency. Which tag type would you recommend I use for entering deeds for land when it was not a residence?
