  1. Source Images

    I am currently putting my images on the Source Definition screen Exhibit Log. I'm wondering if that is the best way to do it. Would it be a better idea to put the images on each Citation for the specific source? They are external images, so it wouldn't increase my project file size - correct? If it's part of the Citation will it print with the endnotes / footnotes for a report? What are the benefits / drawbacks to each method? Is there another method that I havn't thought of that may be better? How does each effect various reports? Any help and / or opinion will be greatly appreciated. Eilene

  2. Filter Question

    I have several people in my project who have no death event, but they're definitely dead. I want a list of these people so I can begin searching for their death data. I've attempted to filter a list of people as follows: 1st line of Filter Field Age Today Operator > Is greater than Value 100 2nd line of Filter (connected with an "And") Field Death... Sub Field # of tags Operator = Equals Value 0 This returns a list of people with a death tag, when I really want people over 100 as of today with NO death tag. Any ideas? Eilene

  4. Program Won't Exit

    My program won't exit. I've tried File / Exit and tried clicking the red X in top right corner. I've also tried to initiate a backup by going to the File menu and that won't work either. I've been using the program for a couple of months and have not encountered this problem before. I'm afraid to force it to shutdown for fear of wrecking my whole project. What is weird is that I can navigate through the people in my project and enter data, but I can't do the exit or backup. Any tips???

  5. Include SSN?

    With identity theft increasing and more and more family trees being published, I am wondering if there are general guidelines for including or not including social security numbers. For example, if the person has been deceased for a number of years, is it OK for the number to be included? I do not intend to include SSNs for the living, due to the sensitivity of the data. Thanks in advance for any guidance you can provide. Eilene
