  1. Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to include witnesses in an "individual detail" report. I don't see an option for that. Also, can more than one picture of a person be included in such a report. Currently, only the first one (with a *) is included. Another problem concerns the source list. When I want to select a source for a tag, I get a screen with the different sources. However, with my current TMG version (V6.8), the colums are very narrow (I only see a feww words of the sentences) with a lot of blank space at the right. I can change this, but the next time I access the list, I have the same problem again. This did not happen with my previous version. Does anyone have the same experience? Dirk
  2. When I want to add a person, after going through the options “related/man/woman,…”, I finally get the input window. I go to the set-up window, where I define the tags I want to enter, check the fields I want to update for each tag and also choose the style I want to use (which is one defined by myself). I leave the set-up window and finally get the possibility to input my data. This is where my problem comes up: when I enter the person’s last name, putting the cursor in the SortName field automatically updates this field. However, when I do the same thing with the person’s first name, the sort field is not updated and I have to input this myself at the risk of making mistakes. This problem occurs only with this field (first name). What can possibly be the reason for this. When inputting data in Tags (add new tag) the automatic update of the (first name) sort field works fine. I am using the latest TMG version. Dirk
  3. Sort tags

TMG offers the possibility to enter a Sort Date to sort tags chronologically. However, when one or some of the dates are of the "between 2 dates" type, the age considered for the person and also the sort date is the mean value of the two dates (e.g. between 1940 and 1960 appears to consider 1950 as the sort date and person's age for the event). This disturbs the chronological order. I tried to fix this by entering the first of the two dates as the sort date, but the data remain sorted based on the mean value. Is there a way to sort by the first date, anyway? I also removed the sort date in order to try to sort in an alphabetical order, but this doesn't seem to work out either. All tages with a "-", such as Son-bio seem to be sorted at the end. Is there a solution for this?
  4. Sort tags

Now I see. So, the best thing I can do is choose the midpoint date as the sort date to have the right order for the age. Thanks!!
