I am trying to do a search of my database for all people who do not have either a father or a mother listed. I want to be able to refine the search to just the ancestors of one person. I tried the project explorer, and could search the whole database for no mother/father, but could not limit the results to just the ancestors of one person. I used project explorer to find all of the ancestors of the one person, and made a focus group from them, but could not find a way to then do a search for no father/mother from just the focus group.
This type of search would give me a list of names of people I need to do additional research on. I am sure this can be done very easy, I just have not found the correct trick yet.
