    I may be wrong on this but my best guess is that your version may have exceeded the 30 days trial period. :unsure:

     

    Yeah, I knew it had expired. I was still using the software to browse the features, capabilites, etc., to see if it was what I wanted.

     

    Thanks, Kevin. Vera's diagnosis is correct and I've reported the error. The menu should never show when the Welcome screen is active. This has been fixed and the fix should be in v6.10.

    OK, this is kind of what I was looking for in my pre-sales question - responses to the user community and willingness to keep the software updated. :)

    What is the development cycle of TMG? Are there updates released often? Bug tracking/fixes?

     

    Using the trial version 6 I've already run into a few "issues" that are making me very hesitant to purchase. All the reviews I've read state this is the way to go though.

     

    For instance, when I start the software and get to the welcome screen where you can choose "Last, Sample, Select..." etc., if I leave that window present and click on the Help menu I get a code error "Array dimensions are invalid".

     

    Now, any normal person would say "don't do that", but to me it's a sign of problems. This is only one of the things I ran into.

     

    Understand, I'm not a troll, not flaming the software, just wondering what the development and support is like should I run into any more problems.
