I have specific census tags (and corresponding roles) in my primrary data set for the census records for 1790 - 1920. However, when I started a new project, the only available tag for census is "Census", no choice of differing years. When I look at the help index, it states I should "highlight the tag in the imported tag type window and then highlight the tag in the standard tag window and then hit "assign". Where exactly are these windows and where is the assign key?

It is a new project. Sorry. The first project was done primarily for southern Italy research, but when I added the American relatives, it always gave me the option to include census information for each of the 10-year census. This new project only lists the "census". Sorry for the poorly phrased question. Linda

Hi Terry, I just started my second family group and I noticed that the US Census tags (for each census year) was missing and only the generic tag for "census" was left. Can you help me figure out the preferences that will get the ten-year census tags back? Linda

Is there a way to write a report that lists the frequency of surnames in a database? I have over 11,000 individuals in the database and i need to see which names appear the most. Thank you.
