I do not use abbreviations on my input. When printing a pedigree, there is not room for the full city, county, state. How do I get standard state abbreviations rather than postal abbreviations?

I have spent hours trying to figure this out! I need a report of people who's living tag is "?" and have no tags or children born after 1900. I have tried using "any event" but it does not give the results I am looking for. Can this be done?
