Can't install TMG7.04 from CD

Upgrading from TMG 6.02 which is running just fine with Win7. When I start the TMG 7.04 installation process using the CD rec'd by mail, a box headed 'demo32.exe' comes up with this error message:

"Error performing inpage operation."

What does this mean, and what can I do?

First, Tmg7 is a completely different program from Tmg6. So you are not upgrading. You are installing a new program.

 

The program that you are running is not the Tmg7 installer.

 

Find the program 'Tmg7setup.exe' on the CD and run that.

 

Better, download the Tmg v7.04 installer. Save the file to your hard drive and then run that. (Be sure to select 'Save' and do not select 'Run' when downloading.)
