Change filter order from alphabetical to date

Hi, I am using TMG 7.04. When I run a filter for living people, the report produces a very nice list complete with D.O.Bs.

How can I get the report to change the order to date and month?

Hi Mike,

 

What "report" are you using, or is this to the screen? How exactly are you seeing the dates?

 

There is a setting in Preferences for the Program under the General set of preferences to set the Date format that TMG uses most of the time to display dates on the screen. Perhaps that is what you need?

 

Or for most reports there is a Dates tab in the Report Options where you can specify a number of different date formats.

 

Let us know "exactly" where you are seeing the date, and "exactly" what you would like to see. There is probably some setting that will do what you want.

Hmm.. re-reading, maybe you want to change the sort order of whatever you are seeing in output? Again we would need to know exactly what report or screen you are seeing. Most reports and screens have options to set the sort order.
