dustin 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2012 What is the proper way to uninstall TMG? When I used the Windows Programs Manager, it removed most of the files, but it didn't even touch the registry. I believe that there are over 300 entries. This does not even touch the files that were left behind. I was not able to find an uninstaller or any advice on this issue. Jim Byram 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2012 You use Control Panel / Add and Remove Programs or Programs and Features and uninstall. That runs the uninstaller. The registry entries remain and you need to use some other tool to remove those. If there is a remnant program folder, you can delete that. This only happens if something has been added to the program folder that the installer didn't add. Any data folders remain since the installer didn't add these. You can delete them if you wish.
