patj 0 Report post Posted May 26, 2013 When I attempt to backup my TMG 8.08 file to a flash drive, I get the following error message: Input file read failure-This error occurs when a file read operation is performed on a ZIP file that is locked or restricted by another process. Virginia Blakelock 0 Report post Posted May 26, 2013 This is not an uncommon problem when trying to backup to an external medium. Make your backup to a file on your main drive and then copy that .sqz file to the flash drive. Virginia Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
patj 0 Report post Posted May 26, 2013 Hi Virginia: Thank you for your help. The backup completed now. It turns out that my flash drive was too full, when I initially tried to copy the *.sqz file from the C: drive to the flash drive. I deleted some old files and then it copied just fine.
