Shortcut key - changing or adding a new one

Is it possible to add a new shortcut key? I want to add one for the biography tag.

Is it possible to modify an existing shortcut key. If I can't add a shortcut key for biography I would then like to change the Ctrl-H (history) shortcut key to invoke the biography instead of history.

No and no. Shortcut keys are created in the program code.

 

You can add a button to the custom toolbar to 'add a tag of a specific type' so you could add a Biography tag with one click using that method.
