Admin 0 Report post Posted August 29, 2004 To combine wall charts, just generate a chart and save it as a VC2 file. Then generate a second chart to the screen. While that chart is open, go to File > Open and select the first chart. Now that they are both open, go to the Window menu and choose Tile in order to see both windows at the same time. Now you can simply select and drag one chart (or pieces of it) from one window to the other. Hold down the Ctrl key to copy the chart elements instead of moving them. RobinL 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2006 One subtle side-effect of this chart combining process and a warning. Each box in the combined chart retains its generation identity from the chart in which that box was created. That generation identity is used by the right-click -> Select Generation feature. Which means that for a combined chart, to get a correct set of boxes highlighted the 2 or more charts on the same canvas must have all been commenced at the same generation. This Select Generation operation is quite likely to select boxes that are not all the same combined generation from the separately created charts. Unfortunately, as within VCF the user cannot adjust the generation setting within the boxes, you are advised to make any generation-based property change (using the Select generation feature) within the separate charts before you combine them on to a single canvas.
