Helmut Leininger 0 Report post Posted August 3, 2007 Hi, Reports do not use the sort order specified for the project. E.g. the project has German sort order defined The order in the project explorer follows the usual German sorting Bock Böck Bogner Bosch ... Busch Carl In the report, the persons appear in the English (ASCII) sort order, i.e. Bock Bogner Bosch .... Busch Böck Carl It would be nice to have the same sorting in project explorer and reports Regards Helmut

Changes in the collating sequence are necessary to properly sort diacritics, umlauts, etc. Your choices are: Dutch, General, German, Iceland, Machine, NORDAN, Spanish, SWEFIN, UNIQWT. If you are using English, you need not change anything. GENERAL applies to English and all other languages not listed. After you change the collate sequence, it is necessary to re-index the project. Other than that I agree that reports actually don't seem to honor other collate sequences than the default.
