Thomas Brunson 0 Report post Posted April 13, 2008 I imported a Legacy file into TMG 7.0 gold. It seemed to handle the data correctly. I tried to run a report Ahnentafel - Direct Line for 250 generations from myself. It would not work correctly for more than 50 generations even though it says it shoud. My focus group of 6998 people show all the people in my direct line but the Ahnentafel - Direct Line will not accurately work for more than 50 generations. Why?? Is the program wrong in stating that it can do 250 generations has anyone else ever tried more than 100 generations?? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
retsof 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2008 On the report definition screen there is an options button in the lower left. Go there. There is a place to change the number of generations ... up to 250. Some of the reports can run a long time if you are uncertain about the results. I'll set the number to 10 or 20 to check the output and layout, and then go for a large number.
