Sources cannot be accessed

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I am using TMG 7.03. Now, I have identified (at least) two sources with the following problem:

- They can be seen in the "List of Sources" report

- They cannot be seen in the Master Source List

- They are attached to events, where they appear in the sources of the event, but they cannot be accessed / opened from there either.

Data Integrity checks do not show any problem

Re-indexing does not help.

What can I do to "return to normal".

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like they have been marked as inactive. To change them to Active, click on the More button at the lower right corner of the Master Source List, find the source, and click Edit. At the upper right on the General tab, change the Active? status to Yes.

Some additional questions please, Helmut

1) Master Source List is set to

- Filter by dataset = All data sets?

- Sorting = Source Number?

2) Regarding the Citations section for events where you say they appear... you can't even delete those by using the "-" button?

....and when you double-click on them the Citations window does not open?

Hi,

@Vera:

1) Yes

2) I did not try because I did not want to loose any reference and maybe never find the record again.

@Terry:

This did the trick.

Many thanks to all of you.
