Neil 0 Report post Posted October 28, 2008 When I attempt to preview either the Individual Narrative Report or the Individual Detail Report, I get the message that the templates cannot be found. The Detail Report is missing template FG_LIP0505.RRW The Narrative Report is missing template IN_LIP0505.RRW I must have some essential files missing. How do I fix the problem? CHECKING FURTHER, MOST OF THE REPORTS SAY THE SAME THING. I CAN ONLY GET A FEW REPORTS TO WORK WITHOUT AN ERROR MESSAGE! HELP!
Virginia Blakelock 0 Report post Posted October 29, 2008 Neil, try restoring the default report configuration by using the Delete button under the Configuration name. Maybe that will refresh it. Virginia
Neil 0 Report post Posted October 29, 2008 It won't let me delete the configuration name. "This is a standard report definition and cannot be deleted. Would you like to reset the options to the defaults?"
Jim Byram 0 Report post Posted October 29, 2008 It won't let me delete the configuration name. "This is a standard report definition and cannot be deleted. Would you like to reset the options to the defaults?" Click [Yes].
Neil 0 Report post Posted October 29, 2008 I did click yes and it still said that the report template could not be found.
Virginia Blakelock 0 Report post Posted October 29, 2008 Can you run those same reports in the Sample Project? If you installed in the default location, the report templates are located in C:\Program Files\The Master Genealogist v7\rrw. There should be several hundred templates in that folder (I have 655). Do you see those missing templates? Virginia
Vera Nagel 0 Report post Posted October 29, 2008 The Detail Report is missing template FG_LIP0505.RRWThe Narrative Report is missing template IN_LIP0505.RRW Neil, in addition to Virginia's question.... the template names you provided above are wrong (may be just a little typo from your side) instead of FG_LIP0505.RRW the correct template name should be FG_L1P0505.RRW ("L1" instead of "LI") and instead of IN_LIP0505.RRW the correct template name should be IN_L1P0505.RRW ("L1" instead of "LI") Could you please re-check that as well?
