John Oldman 0 Report post Posted January 26, 2010 Is there an Index for TMG 7 Forum listing all the individual postings of the 49 pages arranged in "like subject" groupings? John O.
Virginia Blakelock 0 Report post Posted January 26, 2010 No - and it would be nice to have. You can use the board's Search function, or switch to the Lo-Fi Version (see Lo-Fi link in the time and language bar at the very bottom of the forum page) and use Ctrl-F to search message subjects. I find it easier to skim messages in lo-fi when you are looking for something deep in a thread. You can't reply there, but a link "click here" at the bottom of each thread takes you back to the main view. Virginia
Jim Byram 0 Report post Posted January 26, 2010 You should know that there is much more information about using TMG on the mail list and in the mail list archives. The forum traffic is a tiny percentage of the amount of traffic on the mail list.
Virginia Blakelock 0 Report post Posted January 26, 2010 Jim is right. I have a link to the tmg mailing list search engine on my browser toolbar. It is http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-...search?path=TMG Virginia
