Bizegrama 0 Report post Posted March 2, 2010 I was planning on installing Windows 7 - 64 bit on my current desktop computer. I currently run TMG 7.04 on Vista 32 bit on that computer and on Win XP on my laptop. I have data stored on my jump drive which I switch back and forth as needed. My question is will I have a problem with TMG 7.04 and Windows 7 - 64 bit. I have read about the printer problems with Windows 7. Would I be better to wait until TMG v. 8 comes out to install Windows 7. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Shirley Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
nbradley 0 Report post Posted March 2, 2010 Shirley If you can print from your laptop then you shouldn't have any real issues. I'm doing something similar. Beware of buying the "Home" version of windows 7 because you can't load up XP in a virtual window if you have applications which wont run under 64 bit. You need the higher level versions (professional or ultimate). I find the Virtual XP machine to be very useful. The other issue you will have already coped with if you are using Vista - the paths are different between XP and Win 7. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
