RWells 0 Report post Posted September 21, 2010 I have a single Y in the tag memo field that I would like to get rid of. There is no other data there but the Y in the first position of the field. Any suggestions on how to do this without doing it individual entry at a time? Thanks Roger
Jim Byram 0 Report post Posted September 21, 2010 Use TMG Utility. http://www.johncardinal.com/tmgutil/
RWells 0 Report post Posted September 21, 2010 I have tried that and it seems to bring back any memo that has a Y no matter if there is other information or not. I even tried to use a Y plus several spaces after it to hopefully elimintate other information but it did not seem to work. Maybe I am doing it wrong... Terry Reigel 0 Report post Posted September 21, 2010 Roger, Did you check "Contents must match Find What exactly" when you ran the Find in TMG Utility? If you try that and get no matches, that means that there are some non-printing characters in the field as well as the "y". To find them try a search with that option unchecked, and search through the Log for one of the tags with only the Y. Copy exactly from the log what is in the field, then paste that in the Find What field and turn the option back on.
