Jeanneology 0 Report post Posted May 12, 2011 I have several people in my file from errors in source records. These people did not actually exist. How can I delete them? Terry Reigel 0 Report post Posted May 12, 2011 You delete persons by making them the focus person, then using the Edit > Delete Person(s) menu command. You first have to delete any Relationship tags linking them to parents and children, and any Marriage tags. You change relationships by opening the parent/child Relationship tag or Marriage Tag, that is error, and changing the the incorrect ID# to the correct one. If you don't know the correct one, you can just delete the incorrect tag. To add a new relationship between two existing people, you add a Parent or Child relationship tag or a Marriage tag, entering the ID#s of the correct people.
