I inherited a data set that I incorporated into my project.
It turns out that the exhibits didn't come with it and are no longer available.
The guide seems to tell me all about exhibits except how to remove references to them.

How do I remove them from TMG 8.0?

From inside TMG you can open the exhibit log and select "all exhibits" in the "focus" field. Then you can scroll through and delete the exhibits which are missing. If you set the "frowny face" option in File/Preferences/Exhibits you'll easily locate the ones which are missing.
