Esther 0 Report post Posted May 15, 2014 Hi, i am totally new to the software (UK version) but think I am reasonably computer literate - I am so far unable to view or print any even standard charts - I have printed off the help instructions and followed them to the letter - I have received an error message - "unable to find file" when trying to create a VCF ancestor box chart - can anyone help? Virginia Blakelock 0 Report post Posted May 15, 2014 Esther - Assuming you have installed the TMG files in the default locations. Try this: Go to the Ancestor Box Chart and click on the 'Reset Defaults' button under the Configuration name. Then follow only the three steps below to create the default chart. Let us know if that works. Tick 'Use the Current Focus Person Tick 'View in Visual Chartform' Click 'Create Chart'. You may also want to visit the VCF forum here where there are many chart examples. Esther 0 Report post Posted May 17, 2014 Hi Virginia, Thanks for the advice - I tried the above and I seem to have created a report but I cannot access it on the screen - it created something for an instant then it vanished - has this happened to anyone else?
