JAL in EM 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2014 Version 9 changed the method of moving down from one place field to the next. The down arrow now moves you down into the next fields place label and not the data entry field. This is very frustrating. Can't this either be returned to the previous behavior or at least provide a selection option to change this method of behavior in the preferences? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Jim Byram 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2014 Normally, place and name label fields are turned off and the down arrow key moves through the data entry fields. If the label fields are on, the point moves through the label and data fields. This is not a change of behavior in v9. And Preferences has a third choice where the labels are only accessible with the mouse. In this case, the down arrow key only moves through the data fields.
