Hi have not used my Family History programme for a while and just found out that it is discontinued

 

 I Have just tried to export a gedcom file to Ancestry but it is blank all the time ? what am I doing wrong please

This issue is discussed in multiple topics in the TMG8 and TMG9 forums.

 

The GEDCOM export truncation is caused by some third party application on your system. There are a number of topics on this subject. The usual cause is something like DropBox or a virus checker (as known examples). You need to disable the third party application (such as DropBox) or the virus checker real-time scanning (such as McAfee) when doing the GEDCOM export.

 

Some people have found that exporting in Safe Mode allows a full GEDCOM export.
