Variable ‘GOTERM’ is not found error

Recommended Posts

I have installed TMG 9.05 on a fresh install of Windows 11 on a new Mac running Parallels Desktop. Upon running TMG, I get the error message Variable ‘GOTERM’ is not found. I’ve tried repairing the install as well as reinstalling, but the error persists. What can I do to fix this? Thanks in advance for any help.

Dan,

A quick search of GOTERM on this Forum produces several posts indicating that this is common when running on a virtual machine.  Those posts suggest that it is often necessary to create a special configuration file to explicitly specify the default folder paths for TMG to use.  See TMG's Help file topic on "Customizing Data File Storage".  I do not have a virtual machine to test this or walk you through this, but hopefully those posts and this Help topic will give you some ideas of how to proceed.
