Formatting in place memos

I have only recently started using place comments/memos (wonderful when used in conjunction with Second Site's place indexing feature).

Was it just me, and whatever mood my computer was in at the time, or are things like Ctrl+B to bold, ..+I for italics etc really not available there?

I couldn't find any right click options either, at least not via the apps key.

 

Just me? or everyone?

If everyone, is it planned to include them in a future release?

I would have thought that all memo fields should be consistently able to have formatting included.

The place memo uses the old memo control, not the new one allowing formatting. Since TMG does not output the memo in a form where formatting makes sense, this memo was not converted to the new control. You can always use formatting codes for your SS output.
