MsScarlet1957 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2006 I am trying to find an old post I made, and to print out the response I found helpful from someone. Under my name in the left column it shows that I have posted "55" posts to this board I go to my name and click on "find all posts by this member" or something similar to that wording... and it brings up only 14 results. None of which contain the post I am looking for. This list of results includes my very first post, so it does not seem to be restrictive to dates. There are not links to more "pages" at the bottom of the results page. Where are the other thirty posts I made? I have tried various searches and not found the message(s) either. Of course I can not remember the name of the topic exactly.. but putting a one word search has not brought it up.

The forum was maliciously hacked in September of last year and most or all forum messages were deleted. See BobV's announcement at the time : http://www.whollygenes.com/forums201/index...?showtopic=3998 The messages had become a great resource and I really miss them. For a while I could occasionally find an old message cached on Google, but no longer. Virginia Edited January 20, 2006 by Virginia Blakelock
MsScarlet1957 0 Report post Posted January 24, 2006 I had not seen that post and that is really a shame! Also I see Bob V. says posts are NOT kept after a certain amount of time from the support forums, I wonder why that is? I think the need would be to preserve all past questions, so the same stuff don't have to be re-hashed over and over in the future. Well thank you anyways, and I am REALLY sorry I did not print out that past posting of mine now! It is gone forever! I took for granted (ignorantly) that the support forum was all archived and preserved!
