pktropics 0 Report post Posted August 26, 2006 Why is UK style only available for top to bottom, and not for left to right or waterfall charts? I don't know about other users, but I find the US style can be confusing, especially on charts which go over many pages and where there may be multiple spouses. It is easy to confuse a spousal relationship with that between a parent and child, and wehrer there are several spouse, they can appear to be siblings. The UK style avoids this problem because it maintains a very clear visual distinction between generations, and because it uses a different linkage ('=') between spouses/parents and their children and siblings. But for some reason it's not available on left to right or waterfall charts - an inconvenient limitation because this is the most compact format for charts and one I use often. Can it be addressed in a future release? pktropics Queensland, Australia
