LornaHenderson 0 Report post Posted June 25, 2007 Can anyone reproduce this? I have a text macro set up to contain the UK pound sign, saves mucking around. However, in a memo field, I can only get the macro to work once. So if I need more than one pound sign, I have to either go back to the last one and copy/paste it, or open up the Tools/External Utilities/Character map and select & copy it, or remember the sequence I need to precede the Alt +0163 on my laptop without the numeric keypad. Minor quirk, but definitely quirky! Other text macros seem to be unaffected, but none of those are special characters
Jim Byram 0 Report post Posted June 25, 2007 Lorna, Works fine for me. I added the Pound sign to a text macro field with ALT+0163. It works every time that I add it to a memo with the proper text macro key combination. Jim

It's been bugging me for several weeks now, so it isn't just a temporary thing. Reboot, restarts etc etc have no effect. Happens consistently for me, first Shift Fx works, subsequent ones don't, for that key only, in the same memo text, unless I close the tag and come back in!
