MMj 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2008 Hi I have been tweaking my preferences over the past couple of days, and I am mystified as to what the minimum and maximum memo font size fields in data entry preferences actually DO. I have tried fiddling around with them in conjunction with fiddling around with text in some of my memo fields, but so far, I can't see that they accomplish anything. Terry Reigel 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2008 They are a carry-over from the previous design, where the size of the text in all the screens changed to fill the screen as you changed the size of that screen. Those settings control the max and min sized that will be used. The Preferences setting still exist because there is an option in Preferences > Program Options > Other to use the old re-sizing method. If you do, the max/min settings apply. If you use the new method (the default) the min setting is the one used in the screens. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
