michelec 0 Report post Posted December 27, 2009 I'm running TMG in a virtual Windows 7 window using VMware Fusion on a Mac. Every time I reload the program, the settings I've selected the last time I ran the program don't stick. For example, when it loads, it shows the screen that asks me which database I want to load. I uncheck the box that says not to ask me next time, but the next time I load the program, the box is there again, instead of taking me to my database automatically. I also previously set the Tag Box to show the age column. But, again, when I restart the program, I have to set it again to show the age column. Has anyone else experienced this and what can I do to get my settings to stick?

Your symptoms (finding the last project, remembering layouts and settings) sound like data paths issues. See page three (3) of the thread, "GOTERM and other problems," at the link below: http://www.whollygenes.com/forums201/index...showtopic=10076 Hope this helps. --GJ
ggilbert1 0 Report post Posted December 27, 2009 (edited) You might try changing the setting in Preferences. File > Preferences > Program Options > Start up and Exit > Show Welcome Window However since you are running in a virtual machine, I'd suggest you allow the Welcome Window to open and select Last database used. As for the layout changes... Have you saved the new Layout? Edited December 27, 2009 by ggilbert1
