Is there a configuration where Master Genealogist will not create directories and files in the default Windows document folder?

Could you be more detailed, please?  What directories and files are being created, and what do you wish to actually do?

You might also review the topic "Data File Storage" in the TMG HELP files.  That might provide the information you seek.

Hope this gives you ideas,

Read the subtopics under Data File Storage.

One subtopic tells you how to create a Data_paths.txt file that will override the program's default paths for data storage.
