Hi everyone,

can someone give a sample, how TMG exports the sentence structure for events into a Gedcom file? RootsMagic and Family Historian uses

as a sublime of individual/family events. AncestralQuest uses

for local sentences within events.

TMG does not.

See my Tutorials and Articles on using TMG at tmg.reigelridge.com

The Second Edition of my book, A Primer for The Master Genealogist, is still available
. For more information see my website.

Sad, because, it has a nice sentence variable dictionary.

The RootsMagic sentence structures are very similar to the TMG sentence structures. Directly importing a TMG data set into RootsMagic imports the sentences with conversion where needed. Some post-import cleanup is needed. All of the roles are imported, however... RootsMagic only allows using one principal role Multiple witness roles can be used.
