Arman 0 Report post Posted November 1, 2005 Is it possible to copy an event from one person and paste it in another person? This would save a lot of time in some cases.
GenerationGoneBy 0 Report post Posted November 1, 2005 Just copy the tag, then change the ID number to the correct person. IT will disappear from Person A and show up on Person B.
Arman 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2005 Just copy the tag, then change the ID number to the correct person. IT will disappear from Person A and show up on Person B. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Brilliant! Unfortunately, the Last Edited Date of the person receiving the tag is not updated. (See Forum topic: Last Edited Date not correct (this field is not always updated)
RobinL 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2005 I can't easily check this at the moment! However, I presume that the Copy Tag will update the Last Edited Date of the person from whom the tag is being copied as at that moment you are actually adding another tag to that person. (But that may not be be what you want to happen if you are about to change the P1 id of that copied tag). It looks like the issue is more complex.

Hi, Arman, hi, Robin, I'm able to reproduce the effect Arman sees. The Copy Tag updates actually only the Last Edited Date of the person from whom the tag is being copied but it doesn't update the Last Edited Date of the person who's receiving the tag. And that shouldn't be the case according to me. Effect will be reported. Vera
