DNA Heritage Template needs Update

I found this update notice in my on-line Profile @ DNA Heritage:

 

Update: Following a change in Y-chromosome STR nomenclature guidelines which happens every so often as the industry matures, we have altered some of the values for results. This applies to all samples released prior to 7th December 2007.

 

We have made site wide changes and all affected data has been changed for you. You may wish to download a fresh copy of your Report and Certificate.

 

Additionally, you may wish to update your Ybase record. Although we have made an easy update button on Ybase we haven't altered the actual values in the database as it is a mixed use database (i.e. people who have tested at other laboratories have added to Ybase).

 

The affected markers are:

 

DYS441 (increase of 1),

DYS442 (increase of 5),

DYS452 (increase of 19),

DYS463 (increase of 2),

GATA A10 (increase of 2) and

GATA H4.1 (increase of 10)

 

We have also altered the marker name of GATA C4 to DYS635 and also TAGA H4 to GATA H4.1

If you've had testing done by DNA Heritage you will want update the values that have been changed in your TMG DNA Log.

v.7 Windows 2000 and XP users should copy the file to C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\The Master Genealogist v7

 

v.6.12 Windows 2000 and XP users should copy the file to C:\Program Files\The Master Genealogist

v.6.12 Windows Vista users should consult http://www.whollygenes.com/files/tmg6andwinvista.pdf

 

The file needs to be renamed from dna heritage.zip to dna heritage.dna
